Our dream has always been to act as stewards to this idyllic piece of rural England.
We arrived here in 1996 in order that Julie could have her driving ponies on her back door step. We found ourselves in an area just embarking on a Green Tourism movement. We joined the movement when Oswald finished a thirty year Crown service career and started the business to help people learn countryside skills and woodland crafts.
Since then, in 2003, we have had people from many countries visiting us and relaxing in the family atmosphere that has developed as our style of hospitality. You won't find breakfast at seperate tables with individual pots of jam on doillies. It's round the farmhouse kitchen table with us, eating eggs from the next door farm and bacon from the next village.
Our two sons (born 1990 and 1991) help on the farm and are committed to making it a better place than when we arrived.
